Design Concept /

Sister City acts as a quiet, minimal counterpoint to the portfolio of hotels of Ace Hotel. The hotel interiors were designed with calm in mind, making use of warm wood fittings and furniture throughout. The overall experience highlights the beauty found within simplicity. The design process was driven by the value found in spaces that are purposeful, minimal, and authentically crafted.

In this summer-long internship, I collaborated with the in-house New York design team to create 3D renderings using 3D Studio Max & Adobe Photoshop. I prepared design presentations, pulled finishes, and sourced conceptual imagery with unique direction to strengthen the design team’s vision.
